Legal Hold and eDiscovery for Utilities Hosted by Keystone ARMA & IDEA

Amy Barringer is a Records & Procedures Analyst at Santee Cooper the state-owned public utility company. Santee Cooper provides electricity and water services throughout the state of South Carolina. At Santee Cooper, Amy is the Analyst primarily responsible for legal hold creation, maintenance, and implementation. Additionally, Amy is the Coastal Region Recorder of the South Carolina Public Records Association, a member of Utility Records and Information Management, ARMA, and a Certified Records Analyst through the Institute of Certified Records Managers.

In her presentation Amy will:

• Discuss relevant resources to guide utility Records Managers through legal hold challenges.
• Discuss challenges and some best practices regarding eDiscovery.
