Ready, Aim, Fire!

IDLLC Presentations include:

Marc Portner, Principal Consultant & Cody Mortimer, Principal Consultant present Records Management in a Disconnected Mobile World

The session will focus on the challenges created by mobile computing devices for Records Management groups.  Most organizations have embraced mobile technology and allow employees to access internal systems via mobile devices, both personal and company owned.  This creates a highly connected workforce that increases productivity and communication.  With those benefits come challenges in maintaining control over digital assets and records management.  A real world case study will be shared with the participants that highlights some of the challenges and what industry best practices can be applied to overcome those issues.

Mark Lewish, Principal Consultant & eDiscovery Program Manager  & Steven Rodi, Dir. of Principal Consulting present Implementing Global eDiscovery

How to create a global eDiscovery Center of Excellence for the implementation of Records Management and eDiscovery requirements utilizing Unified Governance

Innovative Development (ID) will be presenting case study of the creation of a Global eDiscovery Center of Excellence in a corporate environment based on the EDRM (Electronic Discovery Reference Model), IGRM (Information Governance Reference Model) and the concept of Unified Governance.  As eDiscovery requirements are propagated throughout a global organization, the integration of Records Management, Information Governance, and eDiscovery are best implemented by creating a Center of Excellence to ensure complete adoption and compliance.  By combining the needs and support of stakeholders with policy integration a strong linkage is created between legal obligations for information governance, records management, and IT. This presentation will describe the organizational and technical requirements aligned with the commitments and resources required to roll out a such a program.

IDs extensive experience in the corporate world emphasizes how Records Management and eDiscovery experts can add value to their organization by organizing stakeholders, departments and technologies to maximize efficiency and minimize cost.  By understanding and promoting the EDRM, IGRM and Unified Governance, eDiscovery and Records Management professionals can help identify efficient and cost-effective processes that add tremendous benefit to global corporations.

Join us for an eye-opening look at how Global Unified Governance is becoming the bedrock helping organizations to facilitate and implement records management and eDiscovery best practices in global corporations.
